In the spiral-like forest located inside Lukso Province, the little known Kuruta clan makes their home. Two kids meet within the woods, sharing one special thing between them: the passion for an adventure. A promise is made. "We'll meet once again in the hunter exam 4 years from now, wait for me". Their dream, however, is destroyed by the incident occuring in the boy's life, leaving a huge trauma and the rising of a new deep emotion inside his heart: hatred. How is the other kid going to deal with this whole new reality and turn of events? A/N: I actually would like to try to keep the reader's gender neutral, without making use of "they/them" pronouns, but I'll probably fail at some point xD I also hope I can finish this fanficfion, I at least know what the events will be, and the ending. Hope you enjoy! c: Cover by me! Hunter x Hunter and its characters belong to Yoshihiro Togashi!
