We are here to tell you that this book is fiction (to those nonbelievers) but if anything unnatural happens to you, use this book as a guide for survival. Let us tell you a little bit about ourselves.
My name is Cole and I am 14. I have a secret.
My name is Bri and I am also 14. I am not who I seem to be.
We were selected by a secret society called "Wordsmiths" who determine the past, present, and future to take on a quest with four others. The Book of Life, a book which holds information of everything that goes on in this world, requires special paper which is quickly disappearing. Not to mention that murders occur as the quest progresses. The bodies are mutilated and a letter is carved into the victims' chests. We need to find the source of the gruesome events or else the whole world will end.
The Wordsmiths are a secret society that are in deep need of a couple heroes and this is how an unforgettable journey takes place.

Who will Arise?

If someone is a 'thing', automatically presume them dead, or at least soon to be dead. It will always take about 2 weeks to become fully changed, hopefully you can chop of that body part in time for the infection to stop. If you can't, put an end to your soon to be painful and horrible turn/death. These beings as I announced only a moment ago, look exactly like a human, two way to tell if they are one or not, their attitude and their eyes. They don't have emotions, only hunger and let me tell you, they will go out of their way to eat you, they will speak but it will sound different... Deformed almost. The eyes are usually the first to become infected, they become slightly red at first, as time progresses so does the intensity of the color red in the eye. The color in their eyes they once possessed, will seem dull, it will seem as if they are unfocused or unfamiliar with their surroundings. EXTRACT FROM BOOK: I don't know how to live anymore. With everyone I care about dead, all I can do is focus on Survival finding Food, Fresh Water and Keeping away from the dangerous groups of Reluquos. After the Disease that killed off the Majority of the world finally deceased it left the world a Hostile and Dangerous place. With approximately 2,500 people left in America and 15,000 left in the world, it isn't often you come across someone just passing by, there are three main groups that stick together The Beati, who are the apocalyptic version of a hippy, The Operarios Group (just normal people trying to survive), and then of course The Reluquos the power hungry killers who execute anyone who try's to get in their way or disagrees with them. Oh and then there are just the Loners like me hoping to find somewhere they can fit in and belong. I don't know what made me go this route but for some reason I did and now I'm standing face to face with a Reluquos Army Leader. His strong arm grips onto my Shoulder stopping me from moving, He regards me coolly studying my face for signs of fear, which I'm trying my damned hardest to suppress. Finally he talks....Complete
