He had been in one relationship before for a short period of 2 months with Sara Rome, who had a complicated family with divorced parents, dad and brother in jail and hating her dad and stepmother; after her brother had gotten out of jail, the two were forced to split. Zane never opened up rather everyone opened up to him. To everyone else Zane's breakup wasn't a big deal, his past wasn't a big deal and for him to open up was impossible.
