Setting: this book takes place in college right after an important turning point of America's life, the death of his former when the USSR (real world time would be the year 2000 to 2005)
Warnings: mentions of countries that did horrible things, use of symbols that have been degraded by very bad people and mentions of mental illness and actual illnesses
