Unheard feelings of a glass heart.

"Can you hear me?" she asked. No one answered. "I'm right here." Silence. Not even a glance. She swallowed hard. "Do I even exist to you?" The room buzzed with voices, laughter, conversations weaving around her, but not with her. "Say something. Anything." Nothing. She let out a shaky breath.
