the stars shone brightly over the snowy ground. a bulky man held a small baby, in his arms as he looked out at the starry night that let the stars light fall upon the mountain where he and his family lived. hearing the sound of footsteps he turned, a smile gracing his face as his vibrant violet eyes landed on a woman wearing a tank top, her jacket now wrapped around her waist, some soot and oil on her face and arms, along with her shirt. she had a slight smirk on her face, her hip popped out a bit as her hand rested on her hip." I would've never thought over all that time ago from when I first met you, that  you would be holding a baby. our baby no less. second one at that." the man chuckled as his wife walked over towards him. ruffling the hair ono the sleeping boy that rested on the couch, as she walked over to the man she loved. she wrapped her arm around her husbands waist, pulling him closer to him, she leaned and pecked him, making the man involuntarily blush. "so, what should we name 'er." the woman asked. the man smiled, looking back at the small boy who slept on the couch, watch him stir a bit before stopping. "how about... y/n." the woman smiled, watching as the small baby girl opened her eyes, a bright blue light glossing over them, before her e/c cat like eyes looked up at the two adults with curious, but bright eyes. "yeah..." the woman muttered. "i like that. our little cub y/n, you will do great things in the future. I just know it." 

oh how right your mother was.

"S-Stay, p-please," Keith mumbled, hiding his face in his pillow. Lance nodded climbing beside the small boy. Keith turned to face him, his face flushed as he looked at Lance, "T-Thanks." "For what?" Lance whispered, his breath close enough for Keith to touch. "B-Being by my side," Keith moved closer to Lance, closing the small distance between them, "I-I thought y-you'd all hate me." "Why would you think that?" "Ha," Keith let out a bitter laugh, "I'm half Galra. I share half of my DNA with a race who has killed countless civilizations, not to mention they kidnapped Shiro and Katie's family, and they-" "Exactly, "they". You didn't help them do any of that, right?" Lance touched Keith's forehead with his own, drinking in the feel of his soft skin. "N-No but-" "No "buts", you didn't choose to be born part Galra, and you have more than proved you're a paladin." "Allura and Coran hate me," Keith mumbled, trying to find some way to prove that they did indeed hate him. "No they don't, just give them some time to adjust," Keith turned around, pulling Lance's arm around him, "They have to get used to you. None of us hate you, not the smallest bit." Lance waited for Keith to argue but the boy had already fallen asleep. Lance hugged the boy tighter as he copied his steady breaths. "I could never hate you." ------------------------------------------------- Keith gets kidnapped during a simple mission of the paladins. He's tortured and abused for three days, leaving him a damaged mess. The paladins finally find him and bring him home, but Keith is acting strange, stranger than usual. I obviously don't own Voltron. One deca-phoeb, a Galra female by the name of Krolia kept the Galra from finding the Blue Lion. However, her ship received damages and she crashed. A human found her, badly injured, and took care of her. With time, this human gained Krolia's trust and her affection. A baby boy was born to them and they were happy. They though nothing could ruin their happiness; they were wrong. The Galra picked up the signals of the Blue Lion and returned to Earth. She left to protect her family and the Lion but her husband followed her. He helped, but died. The Lion was safe but Krolia had lost her lover and her little child had lost a father. She took him with her, in the hope of keeping him safe and protect the Lion, but they were captured by the Galra. Krolia was forced to fight for their lives in the arena, but lost her own eventually. Her child grew up, learning the Galra customs and fighting styles, fighting - no, surviving - in the arena. He had privileges, allowing him to wander the ship they were all held on. He befriended the other gladiators and taught them how to survive, even the Champion. Together, the Champion and the child escaped, headed to Earth, in hopes to protect what had cost the child so much and could change the fate of the entire Universe. A Voltron AU where Keith grew up in the arena and met Shiro there. Cover art and the original show is not mine but my take is.

I love being the Paladin of the Purple Lion along with my teammates they are my family but I must confess that I have a crush on one of them. It's the Paladin of the Blue Lion Lance McClain but I'm afraid of telling him since I don't want to ruin our friendship. Throughout our journey my feelings for him grow stronger. Should I tell him how I feel risking our friendship or just continuing being friends?
