People always say the afterlife is mysterious and unthinkable. Who know's what is possible after you die. Anything could happen.

Amity Blight died young. She was judged and given and eternal punishment in the form of a gift.

She never fully passed on. She was forced to stay on the Boling Isles in a partial state of death.

She grew up with everybody else, she walked among everybody else, she learned with everybody else. But she was not seen by anybody else.

She could touch thing's and be felt, but not be seen.

 She became particularly interested in one girl who was unlike the other's. A human to be exact.

A human learning magic. She didn't care what other's thought. She lived carefree.

who knew so much could change for the Blight so fast.







This is inspired by the book 'Ghost Of You' by Rainbowjeff on the platform Ao3.

Ever since the Noceda children were little, they've always had problems. Luz was bullied as a child and even in her pre-teen years. The girl didn't know how to defend herself, so she had to rely on her older sister Lucia. People always thought the pair were weird and Lucia was not having it. One day their mother Camila showed them something. It was a place that no one had ever seen before. A place where Luz could be her usual self... a place called the 'Boiling Isles'. Lucia was pissed, she didn't want to go there but in order to keep her sister safe and grow up the way she wanted to... it was her only choice. The duo would be safe there. In a world of witches, titans, and demons, two humans were exploring the magical place. Little did the two sisters know... they would be in more of a struggle than they thought. This story is inspired by the song "For the First Time" by Mac Demarco. Amity's breath hitches in her throat, and she doesn't speak. "Can I kiss you?" Luz asks, her breath tickling Amity's lips. Without any hesitation Amity nods her head yes, her eyes still wide. She couldn't believe it. Was this actually happening or was she dreaming? Luz looks at Amity again, obviously nervous. She doesn't seem to move, so Amity does instead. She cups Luz's face with her hands and gently brings her closer, pressing her lips against Luz's. The hybrid lets out a muffled squeak of surprise, but doesn't pull away or try to stop Amity. After a moment Amity releases Luz and covers her mouth with her hand, her cheeks tinted pink. Luz says nothing, and her ears lower, the tips of them red. "Wow." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Luz Clawthorne-Noceda had always lived in the demon realm along with Camila and Eda, her moms. She'd never gotten along with Amity Blight, but a witch's duel and a whole lot of magic changed that quicker than she ever thought it could. ⚠ All characters are the same ages as in the show ⚠ This story was completed on around 1:35 on July 31st, 2022 with a total word count of 61,250 words.

Though with her new traveling companion being just as mysterious as the group chasing them down, it is certainly not a task for the faint of heart. Especially when she finds out there is more to her companion than she originally thought and she is thrown into something much bigger. Just when I had finally felt myself giving up; the dead surrounding me, what little remained of my hope dissipating, the final thoughts of my life and my family leaving me as well as possibly my life. Something happened I had not been prepared for. Before the dead could finally close in, a figure jumped from above acting as a wall between the monsters and myself. They looked back, yet all I could see were red eyes.

Luz thought it was finally time to leave the Boiling Isles and go back home. Once she got back, Camila didn't agree with her sneaking off for the Summer, so she sent Luz to what she thought was a Discipline School, but it wasn't. They lied, and Camila sent her child there. Years later when Luz was finally out, she couldn't bear to look at her mother. She grabbed her things while she was at work, and ran back to the portal, leaving her mother for possibly forever.

Amity Blight had a strict childhood to say the least. Her family was prestigious and had a very strict way on how to act. Amity never got the freedom and life she wanted. Forced friends, forced smiles, forced dress codes. Amity hated every second of it. But then Luz the human came crashing in, and that ruined everything. Luz changed Amity for the better, and consequently, Amity started to develop feelings for the over-excited female. So Amity eventually built up the courage to finally get it out of her mind and confess to her. Unfortunately, it doesn't go as planned.
