After stoick banished hiccup for not killing the monstrous nightmare or the night fury Hiccup was sentenced to be a sacrifice to the red death and hasn't been seen for almost 4 years the characters that you love have changed throughout the years ever since that dark day and after those years their was a war brewing.
(I made this story caused I was inspired with some of the writers in this app who created httyd books.)
