Most fairytales end with a happy ending. It doesn't always end like that though.
Aspen is a 20-year-old college dropout. When he came out and told his parents that he was gay, they immediately kicked him out. Since then, he has been living with his long-term boyfriend; Conrad. Things got better, eventually. That was until Conrad at 19 years old, had been diagnosed with lung cancer.
At this point, all Aspen is praying for now is for his happy ending.
PS. this used to be a fanfiction, so before you ask conrad is inspired by harry styles and aspen is inspired by louis tomlinson :)

So @franzixidfc contacted me and asked if I couldn't write a book on her idea and this is the result. I tried to follow the basic storyline and added some myself. Harry and Louis were best friends when they were kids until Harry had to move away. Harry returned at the age 17 to his home town to live with his aunt. The kids in Ireland bullied him for the way he dressed. In his new school Harry noticed a loner that everyone called Tommo. There was something familiar with the boy but Harry doesn't make the connection at first. Instead he tried to befriend the boy because he knew how it felt to be alone but Tommo wasn't interested in making friends. Purely fictional. Triggerwarning: weed smokingComplete
