The beginning of a new story in the Dragon World. Following a tragedy, Noca, a young Saiyan on Earth, is forced to embark on a journey to discover who he truly is, learn how to utilise his dormant powers, and find his place in the world. To do this he must find Son Goku, who has been off training Uub for many years. At the same time, Pan, the grand-daughter of Son Goku, struggles through her everyday life.
