'She's different then us...and much more dangerous...'
*    *    *
Ashlyn West was always an outcast. Ever since she was found in the forest as a baby, with a name and nothing else, she felt like her life was on a leash and she never knew why.

When she suddenly starts getting a strange feeling that something horrific is about to happen, Ashlyn must try to convince the alpha and wolf counsel that precautions must be taken, though they think nothing of it until the elements start to slowly wither away, one by one.

Meanwhile, rumors shuffle around her pack that a strange, hostile wolf is lurking in the area with an unknown motive, and Ashlyn's pack becomes paranoid and decides to restrain her even more than she was before.
But why? Who was the hostile wolf? How can she sense things that no one else can? What makes her so different?

Alpha Chris has his share of scars. He wears them like badges of honour, having earned them protecting his pack. Jess carries hers on the inside, a collection of secret shame... After Jess breaks free of an abusive ex, she goes home to her farm in the remote countryside to pick up the pieces of her shattered life. She tries to bury her trauma and move on, determined not to let anyone get too close again. Chris has given up on finding his mate and focuses all of his energy on his pack, growing colder and more distant with every passing year.
