In 1986, fifteen year old Owen Miller is living in Eugene, Oregon. He is a sophomore in high school, and things are going well for him. He has a good friends, he's in a band, he's doing well in school, but there's one thing that is playing in the back of Owen's mind. 

He is having recurring dreams of his sister Lucy who passed away five years prior. These dreams begin to have a negative impact on Owen's life and make him increasingly more upset and frustrated as time goes on. This story tells Owen's search for closure and how he learns to come to terms with his sister's death.

Violet Jackson can barely take a breath of senior year before Flynn Davis walks down the hall of her high school. It takes one look at him to have her world come crashing down. The question of family becomes one that David must face almost daily. Paired with the amnesia, and the weirdly suspicious circumstances of the accident that put him in the hospital, who is he supposed to trust? Who was he before the accident? And who was he with? Because the one thing he is sure of. He wasn't alone in that wreck.
