Every citizen of the United States takes a blood test a few weeks after their birth, commonly referred to as the "Death Test". Simply put, this the results of this test show the recipient how their life is going to end - how they will die. Many have taken extreme measures to keep their death from happening, but none have succeeded. The Death Test has never failed. 

But Katrina Calait is an exception. When her first few tests come back as "unknown", no one panics. They figure she's too young for it to detect her cause of death. But what happens when the unspeakable happens, and her life is thrown into a cyclone of chaos?
