The Bittersweet Christmas

A/N: I wrote this when I was a teenager. I initially wanted to polish this story before I published it, but I've lost motivation to work on this story and I am ready to leave it behind.

Samantha "Sam" Johnston has been in love with Amanda for a while now. She is ready (kind of) to confess to her, and what better time to do that than on a five day ski trip with her friends? There's only one problem: Amanda's straight, Catholic, and way out of her league.

Amanda "Mandy" Chan is unapologetically Catholic, and her only mission in life is to get closer to God. So why does she hide that part of herself when Sam is around? And why has their relationship become so weird? As Amanda tries to mend her friendship with Sam, she quickly discovers things about herself that she never noticed before.

Throw in a meddling couple and a reluctant wingwoman, and this situation is sure to end in disaster.
