Jane was born into a small village near the city, in the Kingdom of Cilia. Being a small town, everyone knew each other. In other words, rumors spread fast.
"Several names were said about me, but only one would remain, a mutual agreement by the lot- Plain Jane."
Even the name isn't that interesting, but wasn't that the point? She was already used to being forgotten. All up in her head and her nose in a book.
Until one day, on a stormy night. Like a beacon of light shining onto her greige life.
