The infamous gang, The Broken Hearts Club, steal and kill mercilessly throughout the streets of New York. The members of their gang have gone through a procedure in which all of their emotions have been removed. They truly feel nothing.
This seems like a great life for Aurora Phillips, an orphaned young adult with no friends, and now no boyfriend. She is heartbroken, homeless, and lonely. With no where left to turn, she joins the gang and becomes just like the other members. Heartless.
The unexpected unfolds as the possibility of love crosses her path again. Will the impossible occur or will she push him away, and slowly become the heartless monster she fears?
