Five months after Lara decided to take a break from adventuring with her older cousin Emma, Emma was at one of her archeological sites when she ran into her old acquaintance Victor Sullivan. Sully asked her to help him and Nate with a job involving the mysterious and ancient El Dorado, and Emma accepted, already bored with her archeological digs as there was no excitement to them for her anymore.
