Stella Malone is a fresh out of film school, twenty-something, aspiring film director. She doesn't have much experience in the world of film making, so her mentor, Jonah, takes a chance on her and invites her to help with filming his new tv show. The TV show is a stunt show inspired by MTV's 'Jackass' and 'Nitro Circus.' The show consists of 5 stunt men, but there is only one that catches Stella's eye, Silas. He is a 30-something year old, with a charming goofball personality that Stella craves. There's just a few little problems, a 12-year age difference, Stella's first look at love that ended tragically, and Silas' dirty little habit. There are many things that come to light about Silas and his habit that keep him further apart from Stella, but she knows that there is more to him than just his habit. She wants to save him, and fix him, but Silas is the only one who can do that for himself. Will he?

"Everything is an act. My bright smile, my happy face, my friendly attitude. I acted like I was fine when I was in that hell, and I'm doing the same now - I pretend that what happened hasn't affected me. My happy smile is a mask concealing the darkness that has claimed my soul. I pretend I'm okay, but inside I'm dying. And then, all of a sudden, he appeared. For some reason, he started showing me the sweet affection I used to crave. Now... I no longer want nor need it. Emotions are a luxury I can't afford. He calls me an angel, not even realizing the irony of the name. I'm anything but pure. I have fallen and I can't rise."
