Romance
In stories you read about girls who have guys head-over-heels for them. You never see stories about the sad not so great looking lonely girls. Why? Because no one wants to read about that. People would rather read a fairy-tale story about every single girl having a boy trying everything to get her. Of course that's entertaining and happy and all that crap, but it's not reality. Hazel is a 16 year old girl stuck in a highschool full of dorks, sluts, bitches, jocks, and just about every kind of person. She fits into the category of what you call dorks. But when she gets into trouble she has to spend a months detention with the highscool hottie Ryan. Slowly he starts falling for Hazel and the two who aren't meant to be together, just might end up together.

Coop, or "Slick" as he's know to his mc brothers is macho and rough, smart and loyal, Coop can't understand why the new girl who is suddenly friends with all of his friends, annoys him so much. He tried not to be rude to her, well, he didn't try that hard, and he certainly didn't succeed. But he did get her a restraining order from an abusive ex, so why does she bother him so much? It's annoying as hell that she's got the whole beautiful, smart and funny thing going on, she just needs to stay out of his way. Hazel, has moved back to the town she grew up in, she's next door neighbors with her best friend Lola, and she's met a new group of friends that make her world sweet and fun. Yoga, her job, her new friends and most importantly, her new baby that is the light of her life. Despite the absentee baby daddy, she's going to fill her son's world with all the love, time, attention and security that she missed out on as a young child. Their world is bright and happy, shiny and safe (as far as she's aware) and she will do everything in her power to keep it that way. Her move back to Ventura is the best thing (next to her baby) that's happened to her, ever, so she is not going to let the grumpy, jerk of a club lawyer/club brother get in the way of her own happily ever after. She just wishes that he wasn't as handsome, smart and very occasionally nice, he just needs to stay in his lane, and away from hers.
