No matter what." "Of course, Nick. You're a great friend, and I never want to lose that." "Friend...yeah." He sounds slightly disappointed. "Yeah, we've already been through a lot these past couple of weeks, and I value what we have." I say slightly unsure of myself. Cassie May was content with the idea of never taking the chance to go to prom. Even though she had been homeschooled, she had skipped a possible good time at prom with her friends twice. But this year, her Junior year, she wasn't so lucky. Others would've said she was extremely lucky. She had been asked by Eli Anderson to go to his senior prom with him, and she wasn't sure of the outcome of her hesitant "yes". She had never been any predicament related to what Eli made happen, so she was completely unaware of how to deal with her upcoming problems. Especially when she realized that he was hiding something from her since the get-go Cassie only though that it was a yes or no question anyway!
