"Yes?"

"Promise me that you'll never leave."

"Well, we have to go back to the party sometime." I try to joke.

Nick laughs slightly, "No, like promise me that we'll always be close. No matter what."

"Of course, Nick. You're a great friend, and I never want to lose that."

"Friend...yeah." He sounds slightly disappointed.

"Yeah, we've already been through a lot these past couple of weeks, and I value what we have." I say slightly unsure of myself.

"Do you...Do you ever think that it could be more than what we have now? That we could be more?"
