Adam looked forward to spend a day with his three daugthers at a theme park. But the quiet day quickly turns into a nightmare when one of his daughters disappears without a trace. He's looking everywhere, but Emily is nowhere to be seen. 

Years passed and the police has still not found her. He's very protective over his daugther Chloe. His youngest daugther is a free spirit and she's close to her big sister. Her favorite tv series is Stranger things and her favorite band is Queen. 

When Chloe starts middle school, strange things start to happen. She's told that she's a copy of a girl who disappeared without a trace eight years ago. No one knows what happened to her, the girl was just three year old. 

Later in the evening she has strange dreams, she sees a figure with red messy hair and yellow eyes. Chloe tells it to her dad and Adam gets worried. But his new husband says she has to stop watching horror movies. Rumors about a clown who kidnaps and kill children begins to spread and Adam suspects he has kidnapped Emily. They have promised each other to stay together, no matter what happens. But everything changes when they are taken to a concentration camp. Adam end up in the right line, while his family end up in the left line. He hope he will return with them again and refuse to give up. But then it turns out that they were killed. Adam tries to take his life, but a man stop him. He offer him a house to sleep and a lovely dinner. He accept it and well there he's brutally raped and left to die. After weeks of starvation and forced labor, he goes to the gas chamber because life isn't worth living anymore. 68 years later he starts a school in London. He meet Tommy and they fall in love. But the memories of his past haunt him and will he ever find peace? ~Based on a true event~

He gets a phone call from his youngest daugther on the way home from school. She tell him she'll take the way through the forest, but promise to be careful. They say goodbye and hung up. But she never comes home. Adam report her missing. He gets another call later in the night from his husband. He tells me that Emily is in the hospital. She was found unconscious in the woods by the police. Luke says she has horrible nightmares about a man without a face. Adam and Vanessa quickly go to the hospital to be by her side. Three days later, Emily is allowed to return home. But she's not the same again. She has still nightmares and she see things that nobody else see. Adam and Luke are very worried about her. When Emily is accused of stabbing her classmate, they know they have to help her.
