So I've been into Hermitcraft/Dream SMP/minecraft for a while, the old game brings back memories.
I've had this idea for a while that : What if someone from Hermitcraft, a peaceful(but chaotic) and fun builder/redstoner world where everyone is friendly, finds themselves in the Dream SMP, where the slightest misstep could cause a war and everyone is on edge, nobody knows who to trust and betrayal is a common occurence?
Guess we're about to find out what happens when a certain group of chaotic Hermits decide to mess around with portals!
Warning : The Dream SMP'ers swear quite a lot, but I'll try and tone it down just enough for it to not be overwhelming while still fitting their personalities.
I'm also not 100% on how all of the Hermits act as I'm watching Seasons 6 from Grian's videos, and Season 7 from a 3 others, while occasionally watching random clips, so I'll often be going off other stories for some details.
This is a mix of my personal headcanons aswell, so some things may be a little funky.

The Chained Watcher
They'd gotten out. After being stuck as gladiators in that god-forsaken arena for who knows how long, they got out. Now the only problem is staying out, but how? None of them knew which way the exit was, so they scattered. Even if not all of them made it, it would be worth it if some of them could make it out. Contains minor gore This idea floated around my head long enough I couldn't not write it, and since it came out decent, I figured I'd post it. No romance, No shipping, Essentially a backstory for if I want to write little interaction scenes. Probably won't get consistent updates, if at all, so be warned. Httyd music + Grian Watcher = this, apparently. Warning! Please note! I am in no way, shape, or form an expert on Watcher lore, nor do I intend to claim to be as such. Any Watcher facts found in this story are to be taken with much salt, and generally considered to be only true to this specific story. Characters are not mine, they are minecraft personas of content creators. Cover image is a feather I found on google that I colored purple ~~~ALERT~~~ I have only posted this story on Wattpad. Sometimes, Glitches Are Good
Or at least, they end up okay. Tommy discovers this as one day, running from Dream and his exile, he falls through the snow and wakes up in an odd world, one with lots of people! Even more people than the DreamSMP, but not quite as many as SMP Earth, which he hardly remembers. Now, in this new world, far friendlier than his old, he must help his newest friends find the friend that disappeared from their world. Meanwhile, Grian wasn't sure where he was or who any of these people were until he bumps into Phil. When he found out a man called Dream had hurt his old friend's kid, he wasn't very happy to say the least. He was particularly angry at how the kid was dragged into their stupid wars, and didn't hesitate to tell the man who wore a plain mask off, much to the surprise of everyone there. It's not every day you see a 5'6 man in an oversized red sweater screaming his head off at one of the most dangerous men in the server. He has to learn how to juggle his sudden nightmares, the insanity of his new world, and the issue of getting home all at once, and he must admit, it was very stressful. Will they be able to get home, or will they be stuck swapped forever? They both had people, friends, family counting on them to come home. Counting on them to return to them.
