Her lungs burned with each breath she took, nipping her at her heart. As she cough to rid the unpleasant discomfort it had only grew more painful. The pristine, ceramic toilet was overflowed with hues of purple, daubed with ichor. The beautiful lavender petals looked daunting with her scarlet blood tainting the beautiful florets. She heaved a breath and brought the hem of her sleeve to her mouth unconsciously to rid of any remnants of the humanly substance. She cursed when her ivory school jacket had soiled. In this world, such a beautiful yet cruel ailment exist. Where one who suffers unrequited or one-sided love rasps flowers grown inside their lungs. The Hanahaki disease. This disease is inhuman. Pure wickedness. And Meraki fell for someone who's heart belonged to another.
