Eshna is faced with a difficult decision when his whole life crumbles to ruins in front of him. He is suddenly forced to leave his parents and home behind to find the Ravenking before enemy forces accomplish the feat. On top of trying to safe his clan from being destroyed, he also faces the quest to gain control over the ancient abilities granted to him by the gods.

I've always been a fan of progression fantasy. However, I do feel disappointed by many of them, with too many characters that vanish into irrelevancy, sometimes arcs that are overly repetitive and a lack of characters ideals. In this story, I aim to instill more character ideals, motivations, and integrate said characters throughout the story, and ensure their interaction with the main character remain relevant to his heart. Perhaps, it's best to say I want the story to have a 'human spirit' that one could feel in old-school wuxia and action/adventure stories.
