A Fate Worse Than Chess

It was a peaceful day at Akira High. Two friends, named Ita and Torian, were playing a standstill game of chess, getting very, very bored. While they were deciding their next move, their science teacher emails them to remind them of their science project due in 2 weeks. Seizing the opportunity to have some fun, they smiled and decided to go ahead and do the project per the email's instructions. However, they didn't read the whole email, and mixed the wrong chemical with their project, causing their clothes to get soaked in green liquid. They knew that they needed to take a bath before the substance gets stuck forever, but before they could even move, the liquid soon dissolves into their bodies. They thought nothing of it, and decided to go to bed. When they woke up in the morning, they discovered that the failed science experiment actually gave them superpowers! They were super psyched! But unfortunately, they also discovered that 4 of their bullies also stole their science experiment, thinking it was an easy A, and also got superpowers. Now they are wrecking havoc all over New York! It's up to Ita and Torian to save New York and their school from the supervillains! Can they save New York while also keeping their identities a secret, or will this science experiment be their last?
