In a drunken moment of weakness 18 year old Severus Snape had a one night stand with the 18 year old cousin of Sirius Black, Proxima Black, resulting in pregnancy. Reluctant at first Snape realized that this was what he needed, someone he could love and to have their love in return. He accepted the pregnancy with the promise to co-parent but he and Proxima eventually grew to love each other as two outcast people but he could never forget Lily.

Proxima gave birth to Silvestra Dorothea Snape and they were happy... for a while at least.
