Yes, the sun was setting but I don't know why (but)
I just saw the sun rising..
Both the hues are similar but the feelings are not.
Both are extremely beautiful but their feelings are utterly different.
One rises to to spread light with a new day and new hope..
and one goes down with the old day along with the light of the new hope.
I don't know why (but) I just saw the setting, sun rise..

The dying song
Her voice meandered through his ears as she sang. It was like a prayer, like the choir of hundreds of angels singing to a god he only knew when he was with her. His head rested in her lap, her soothing hands tracing tiny rivulets in the white locks of his hair, lulling him to sleep. Cherry blossoms fell around them, recalling the first day he saw her back in school, and when she smiled at him, he could swear he was floating. *** She smiles at the memory, amber eyes flooding with the ghost of her printed evocation of a white haired man kissing her cheek. A photo. A picture. A fucking portrait she wishes it won't fade under the cruel weight of time. That's all he left her.
The Days With No Sun
Sometimes we fear truth over reality. But things get dark and heavy and we play the blame game. We end up hurting others or ourselves even. We don't think before we act or we don't say before we do. This is the evolution of my madness. A cluster of rants and thoughts and poems for you guys. Everything is written how I wanted it to be rants will be long with few pauses and there will be mistakes I might have skipped over. Aha. A LOVE SONG UNSUNG
He was 23, and she was 18. They stood together in the registry office, ready to sign the papers that would officially make them husband and wife. It was a secret marriage-only his friend and his girlfriend knew about it. He signed first, then handed her the pen with a smile, but her heart raced as doubt and insecurity clouded her thoughts. Was this the right decision? What if his father found out about the marriage? Would his family accept an orphan and a maid like her as a daughter-in-law? What if, after fulfilling his desires, he grew tired of her and abandoned her? She had no one to stand up for her, no one to turn to if things went wrong. Was it true love, or was he simply lusting after her? Why would a billionaire's son want her? He could have anyone-maybe even a movie star-but he chose her. Why? Despite her fears, her love for him was genuine. Slowly, she lifted her gaze to meet his, her insecurities weighing heavy on her heart. He took her hand in his, offering a gentle squeeze, then motioned for her to sign the papers. With a quiet nod, she did. His friends clapped and congratulated the couple, each one signing as a witness on the papers. Now, legally, they were husband and wife. But to the outside world, she was nothing more than a maid in his house.

From Within The Shadow
Introduction I started a different walk in life in 2007. I have always jotted down ditties from time to time; the ones in this book came about with a massive change within my life. It appeared sometimes as if I had no control over the flow of words. The first sentence would come through and that would be that until the poem was finished, regardless of the length. I started taking a notebook and pen with me everywhere I went so I could write if I needed to. The last one of the book 'Now' marks the end of an era. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I have enjoyed writing them. Shadows I was walking along the other evening and I noticed my shadow,,, Then I noticed more shadows,,, For each light along the way it cast another shadow, hidden from view then the angle of me walking and the position of the light made it come into view, then go out of view again, sometimes, melting into another part of my shadow,,,, Mind you, they were all the different artificial lights, street, car, security, etc,,, I've only noticed one shadow with the light of the sun,,, Added to Heart Stains (HeartBreak) reading list by WattpadPoetry 07/02/2022💖Complete
