Can you make someone fall in love even if they don't believe in it? Joy Morrison works at Bennett's Books, her local bookshop, and it's everything she could dream of. She gets paid to read, avoid her problems at home, and hang out with Mr. Bennett's cat, Giles, all she wants. Things seem to be going good until Mr. Bennett's son, Oliver, moves in with him and the sarcastic teenager starts working alongside Joy. She tries befriending him, but from the start, he shows no interest in wanting to make friends. All they seem to do is bicker from shift to shift. But as they continue to work together and Joy slowly uncovers what makes Oliver well Oliver, her feelings shift. Could this initial hatred turn into something more?
