Pain exploded through my leg, knocking me to the floor.
"They shot me-my fucking leg!" I screamed, trying to breathe through the panic.
My first day working at the museum turned into a nightmare when the Purple Dragons attacked. They found me hiding and shot me, and everything blurred-until a green mutant appeared out of nowhere, trying to save me and the stolen artifacts. I couldn't stand on my own, so he made a split-second decision to take me to his lair, hoping his brother Donnie could help.
While recovering, I learned about Leo, his family, the Kraang, and the Foot Clan. I grew close to him-and terrified of his constant need to play hero. Every mission felt like another chance he wouldn't come back.
But while I worried about him, something began happening to me: the voices, the visions, the emotions I didn't understand, especially when it came to that blue-masked turtle.
Now I have two questions:
What's happening to me-and can I save Leo before it's too late?

Me: Well, actually, I was just looking for a xreader story with an adult Donnie, where the female character is strong and independent, doesn't need to be rescued all the time, and isn't a giggling schoolgirl. Dear Diary, Me and April are finally starting to hangout again! You see what happened was: I was hanging out on the rooftop of my apartment building when these men came and tried to kidnap me. I fought as hard as I could but I accidentally fell off the rooftop. However this green dude with a purple bandana saved me! He gently brought me to the ground and checked to see if I had any injuries. While he was checking, I saw April on the rooftop with some other green dudes and she was fighting off those weird men! Eventually they disappeared and the whole group came down to me and the purple guy. She apologized to me for not keeping in contact for the entire year. She said she's been training to be a fighter with the help of her friends, which are apparently mutant turtles. They all introduced each other, red is raph, blue is leo, orange is Mikey, and purple is 𝒟ℴ𝓃𝓃𝒶𝓉ℯ𝓁𝓁ℴ I don't know what it is about that guy but.... I think I might have a crush on him, or at the very least it's limerance. I mean the guy saved me so it's probably just infatuation because of that. Anyway, April said that tomorrow she's gonna take me to the turtles lair so we'll see how that goes! Maybe I can even become friends with them! Especially 𝒟ℴ𝓃𝓃𝒶𝓉ℯ𝓁𝓁ℴ.....
