At the age of three, after her parent's death in a car crash, Liv was sent to live in an orphanage until she got a foster family.
Two years pass and she finally got adopted by a husband and wife with four other foster kids. But, once she was brought home, the couple turned out to be extremely abusive, mentally, and physically, not only to each other but to all the children as well which left a bad effect on Liv's self-esteem and feeling of safety at the house. It was when she would try to go outside by herself to have fun did Liv find out how cruel the town truly was, specifically with the people she encountered. That ended up changing her entire view on the world. It also degraded her amount trust.
After the abuse was exposed, Liv, and all the other previously adopted children, were sent back to the orphanage. She lived there until she was eighteen once she got the money to rent an apartment to live on her own.
All is normal now with Liv continuing her studies in high school, being apart of a poetry club within school, working as a waitress in a popular restaurant, and being apart of a mixed martial arts program (MMA). Everything seems okay. However, one thing still lingers in her mind: her trust issues.
Liv's lack of trust in people and her big reactions to their antics is what she is most known for. It is bothersome to her, constantly being paranoid of being attacked by someone when she least expects it. Liv is aware of this, however, and knows this is the right way to think and she must continue this train of thought.
But what happens when something between both her poetry club and her MMA club arises? With Liv and the other rest of the gang in the MMA program needing to come together and win the competition, will she be able to find trust in those she must work with or will this journey require her to keep her guard up much higher while also trying to win?

In a dystopian world, where the strongest prevails, having peace is a luxury. Especially when someone from the past is out to destroy everything we have built up over the past 15 years. And with Christmas approaching, our group get to face ten hellish days. Preview: In his fury, the chains have rubbed his wrists and neck raw, despite me trying to calm him down. He suddenly calms down when the screams in the cell next to us switch to the sound of bones breaking. Now he sits with foam on his lips and his eyes wide, looking that way. After ten minutes, the sounds of the boys in our cell have died down, and we all look at the wall that separates us from the crackling of the breaking bones. And then suddenly all is quiet. After a few silent minutes, our cell door opens slowly. From the ball of light from the ceiling, the little girl in the doorway is illuminated. She is completely covered in blood and doesn't move. Then she opens her eyes and carefully walks towards us. And despite everything, my first impulse is to crawl backwards, away from the unnatural calm radiating from her. ------------- After reading yet another great older brothers/younger sister story, where the family gets reunited after years of separation, the sister keeps the secret that she was abused and assaulted all along, and the brothers conceal their work in the mafia, I decided to give it also a try. The output of my story was initially to turn this around with openness and unconditional support and the torture should happen right in front of their very eyes. Because no story is complete without the (un)necessary bloodshed, action, humour and, of course, a bad guy. And who knows, to throw everything completely upside down, the main character may not survive. I won't write warnings above each chapter, because most of them contain violence, blood, torture, etc. Constructive criticism is welcome. Ow, and English is not my first, second or third language. So if I mess up somewhere, let me know!

Saint Ambrose Academy, is the most prestigious Academy in Europe, and the children of the wealthiest within the wealthiest go there. Cue Nova Vidal. She has had a hard life and just can't seem to catch a break. Coming from money does not guarantee you happiness, and so the secrets about her home life were shipped off to Saint Ambrose along with her, out of sight out of mind. However, she is hated by her peers, and mercilessly bullied as a result, but she doesn't seem phased. This earns her the title of Ice princess. Enzo De La Rosa has it all, he comes from good home life, he's popular, good-looking, and loved by all who meet him. Yet still, he struggles with his mental health behind the golden "bad boy" facade he endures for appearances. The Salvatore brothers, Matteo and Angelo are struggling to keep the effects of their home life from mixing with their school life. Matteo has a temper, and Angel has a strong sense of protector. Neither are above hurting the Ice Princess. Cassia Russo the meanest girl on campus, is by far the biggest hater of Nova. But does she have a reason? Lia Amherst the campus sweetheart, she'd never hurt a fly, yet her hands aren't clean of Nova's pain either.. When their paths collide, Enzo and the gang find themselves thrown into the mystery of the Ice Princess, the girl everyone hates. But some secrets are better left unsaid, and once the truth is out there then they all may have to face the consequences of Nova's truth.

She's jumpy, but tries to see the bright side of situations. She's quiet, soft spoken, the "teacher's pet," and keeps to herself a lot. He grabbed a bottle of some sort and smiled. "Nighty night." He whispered. He sprayed the substance all over me until I blacked out. -- 16 year old Cathy moves from a small Rhode Island town to the big Austin, Texas. When she starts her new school, Cliffside High, everyone despises her. They don't like the same music she does and they don't dress like her. She's an outcast in their book. But when she gets home, she goes to her favorite website and chats with people who love her. Who don't despise her. But, everything changes when a stranger starts to chat with her. He compliments her, makes her feel bubbly. She feels like he loves her, and she loves him. Then things get a little weird when he asks her personal questions. Not thinking twice, she answers all of them. Cathy feels guilty afterward, and never wants to talk to him again. But he wants to meet her. I feel like i've lost years i haven't lived-September
This story is not always going to make sense, ive been sporadically writing it for the past year ish and its more of a vent book then something to be taken seriously. Im sure between the months alot of details have been missed or forgotten, but i have tried to stay as consistent as possible despite. The full story is stretched out over a few different books. All under the same title "I feel like i've lost years i haven't lived yet" Trigger warning: Eating disorders, Sexual assault, Rape, Violence, Severe abuse, kidnapping, Basically anything that you could think may be talked about in the book, it probably is. ------------------------ "Is this finally my life? Do i hold it with both hands? Do i try to live?" Carson is a child who has been in and out of the system for years. Her history leaves something more to be desired from life. More that she can never seem to reach. Atleast, not until she meets Phil and his family, that is. Phil is a man packed full of grief. Having watched his wife die right in front of him in a devestating car accident, he found himself unsure of if he was still fit to raise his boys. Hell, Phil was unsure of alot now a days. So when he got the call asking if he was willing to take in a severely abused young girl, Phil almost said no. But when he looked down at the three boys sitting in his living room, laughing at a random cartoon on an early sunday morning.. Phil couldn't find it in himself to say no to taking the girl. Would this family work out and become a home? Or would Carson be doomed to dift around foster care until she, inevitably, turned eighteen? ------------------------ Once again i am in no way a professional nor do i ever intend to be. Alot of these chapters are slightly based on some experiences ive had, specifically family, sibling, and or friends wise.
