This takes place in the beginning of season three, when raps gets back.
Varian has been trying to heal, forgive himself and deal with the town hating him. He tries so hard to help, to be a better person but people only see the monster that tired to hurt their Princess. Raps gives him the job of deciphering the Demanatis scroll. What happens to Varian when he learns more about the moonstone, and who it truly belongs to. Will the people fear him more, will he forgive himself for what he has done, and most importantly, what dose Catalina think of him.

Following his trial, Varian is sentenced to servitude in Ingvarr to pay for damages to Corona. Lieutenant Cassandra is supposed to escort him there, but Rapunzel wants her best friend on her journey. To compromise, the Princess suggests taking Varian with them. ------------------- Updates will typically release on Sundays at 8AM EDT. The cover art is made by yours truly, and was inspired by an album cover from my favorite music artist, Kiltro! Go check out their music- which also inspired the name of this story, haha.
