To My First and Last

On the dreaded day that Hesia was born, the Empress of the Aithne Empire, in other words her mother Jeranea died. And this year Hesia turned ten. But she hasn't seen her father or older brother's face in person and has not had an actual 'conversation', leaving her to know only loneliness and sadness. Life is a pain, even though she could be called a genius if she would just step outside. That is why she is not afraid and wants to die. The only thing that is keeping her from dying is 'love' and 'emotion', the last two things that she could not understand from what the books told her. As soon as the definitions of those two words are clear, she was planning to end her dull life... Until something, someone stopped her in her tracks. An irritatingly new, annoyingly attractive someone who turned her life upside down.
