All Wong Xue Guo ever wanted was her parent's attention on her. She had done all that she could do to get it, only for her attempts to be futile. Just when she was about to give up and just embrace the world of fiction to fill her heart, her mother suddenly changed a hundred and eighty degrees and acted like an affectionate mother that calls her 'baby'.

The change happened around the same time as the zombie outbreak at a shopping mall. That mall coincidentally was also the place for Wong Xue Guo's high school graduation party with her classmates.

Although happy to be showered with love and concern by her previously indifferent mother, Wong Xue Guo could not turn a blind eye to the hints of her mother's strangeness.

Why would her mother tell her to hide right before the zombie outbreak?

Why would her father know the zombie's weak point?

And who can tell her why her housewife mother could kill zombies with kitchen knives with ease?!

Love in the Time of Zombies: An Apocalyptic Romance by JasperBladesmith
16 parts Complete
This novel is a zom-com-rom, blending a zombie apocalypse with humor and romance. "Good morning, welcome to Grand Crest Hotel. May I have the name under which the room is booked?" "Han So Hee," she replied. The receptionist typed quickly on the keyboard. "Ah, yes, Ms. Han. You're in room 1102 on the 12th floor." She handed her the room key card. . . she found a convenience store connected to the mall, purchased some samgak-Gimbap, and ate quickly. she stepped outside, expecting the usual bustle of evening activity. As she scanned the empty area, her eyes caught a figure-a man standing far away, motionless. Something about the way he stood unsettled her. Then, out of nowhere, a group of people rushed toward him. Startled, Han took out her phone, recording the scene from a distance. "What's going on?" she wondered. Planning to at least send the video to the police. "I shouldn't get involved in a street fight when I just landed here, right? ..." "Ugh ... I don't Know ..." She stepped closer, but what she saw next made her freeze in fear. The group wasn't just attacking the man. They were biting him, tearing at his flesh, their movements jerky and unnatural. Her stomach churned as her mind screamed the truth: "they weren't people. They were something far worse." . . "How did I end up here?" she wondered. "This feels like something straight out of a drama..." . . "How do people in dramas do this? she thought, feeling the sharp ache of hunger gnawing at her insides. They train for days without eating, and somehow they're fine. But here I am, struggling to even think straight." . . . She have to survive this with... ..Training.. ..Finding other survivors.. ..Finding a Safe Place.. ..or.. .. ..Finding Love..?

AM13 Outbreak Shorts

112 parts Complete

The zombie apocalypse has arrived, the virus has been dubbed as AM13, and the human race is struggling to survive. Here are some short stories to accompany Lockdown, Forgotten, and Extinct (but they can be read as standalone)...delve in and enjoy life among the undead! Outbreak: No one has it worse than Rachael! First her parents make her move to a crappy new town, then Zac starts ignoring her, and just to top everything off...the rumours of a zombie apocalypse seem to have more truth to them than anyone could have imagined! Quarantine: Katie did not sign up for this when she went to medical school. She's now working as a nurse at one of the specialist medical facilities set up for the AM13 virus. She doesn't want the humdrum of dealing with sick, dying patients every day, she wants to be the hero who finds a cure! As the Lockdown starts, and more people with the virus are bought in, can she keep control of the situation? Crackdown: Oliver might have a slightly shady past, but he joined the police force to make the world a better place, how was he supposed to know the whole world was going to go to hell? Now, with zombies roaming the earth, he has to try and follow orders, whilst sticking to his (okay maybe newly found) morals and stop his old self from coming back. One Year On: It's a year into the apocalypse, how are our favourite characters surviving?
