"Please turn around princess." Luke begged from behind me, placing his hands on my hips but not forcibly turning me. This was my out. I knew Luke would respect my choice. He wasn't going to force me to look at him or forgive him. He was giving me a choice.
Silent tears rolled down my face while my heart broke a little more. Every part of my being was screaming at me to turn around, to look into the dark blues eyes of the boy who had held my heart for four years before leaving and as much as i hated to say it, seemed to have held my heart even five years after.  I had worked so hard to move on. To push that naive girl who thought her and her high school sweetheart would be together forever into the deepest part of my brain. But seeing him again meant something to be. I just didn't know if I was ready for forgive and forget yet.
