The phenomenon of leaves browning during autumn is called Koyo. The leaves eventually fall, but look adorably beautiful when they lose their green colour. Similarly, the human mind becomes fascinating as it ages, and gets closer to death. Beautiful beyond explanation, is the aged human soul and so is the colour of autumn.
'Koyo' is a story I wrote during my winter break, it is about a high school girl going through the uncertain age of her life, the age when she is growing and browning, like the leaves.

Winter comes for all of us, we are falling and falling out of love just like the snow does. Blooming can be presented just like when love starts blooming and becomes a beautiful flower that everyone can look at in the spring. In the summer it can only become stronger because of the sun shining over it, though, in the autumn when the leaves of all these beautiful colors fall to the ground, rain starts pouring, everything gets gloomier, those flowers that nature had taken care of are long forgotten, maybe that's how love and feelings work as well. I've finally found her.
Most things have scientific explainations or is tested on how they were formed or how they end up like that. To see a rainbow form after a rain is normal, to find a four leaf clover within its bush is possible, to see a red tulip in a bouquet of roses is unexpected, but to see your so called "soulmate" they say that you need to spend a good amount of lifetimes just to meet them. What do you do if your an immortal who's been uninterested in meeting their so called soulmate after living for years, suddenly meets them with no warning at all?
