A time-traveling god. A mortal stuck in Ancient Greece. They have always been able to hear each other's thoughts, across time and space; the only problem is, they were never supposed to meet.

Until they did.
And it unravelled the balance of everything.

The immortal Greek god Evgenis' only job is to travel through time, making sure humanity stays on its course. This is what he was born to do. He was meant to be machine-like, cold, and detached from humanity - ready to invoke bloodshed as needed. His ability to follow through with his duty, however, is disrupted when he forms a mysterious internal bond with a mortal.

You see, the Goddess of Love had a different idea for her son's future. Seeing the cruelty of the gods around her, she formed the unborn Evgenis with a secret gift: an eternal inner bond with a mortal. She chose Tharos - named for the strength of his heart - an Ancient Greek villager living an unassuming, simple life. This connection, she prayed, would keep Evgenis' moral compass and conscience strong. He would not end up like the others.

No one could anticipate, though, just how powerful and disruptive this bond would grow to be.

Thalia, an unremarkable slave of taller than average height, but with a face plainer than unflavored Greek yogurt, lives in one of Rome's many tucked away suburbs. She serves a similarly uninspiring- yet aggressively ambitious mistress, Marcella. Their relationship is an odd one; on the one hand, Thalia acts as her lady's maid and attendant, but on the other, she is Marcella's confidant and spy. The pair coexist in relative harmony. Except for one detail: at night, when the city is fast asleep, Thalia blossoms into one of Rome's leading starlets. The gods blessed her with the voice of a songbird, and she is determined to use it. All she desires is to earn enough money to purchase her freedom and retire into relative obscurity. Thalia is no fool; she understands she walks a fine line and is prone to tip over any day now. When a wayward soldier sees through the glitz and glamor of her facade, she feels the scale tipping. Thalia knows she can't resist him, not when for the first, and only time in her life, she is wholly accepted. Alex is a centurion on leave, and he is restless. During his days he manages his family's burgeoning enterprise, but he is bored out of his mind. He finds diversion in visiting shitty hole-in-the-walls in the evenings. He meets a woman who could be described as nothing other than an enigma at a tavern called The Pig's Den. His fascination quickly spirals into infatuation. Especially when they begin to cross paths in places they should not, namely, in broad daylight. He begins to realize that she is not who she presents herself as, but he quickly learns that this doesn't bother him in the slightest. Between double lives and defiance, the pair play a dangerous game. Their union results in a blaze that consumes them- and threatens to raze everything they know and love. They can't stop the fire, but the question is whether or not the star-crossed lovers can make it out on the other side of the flames unsinged.

Festival Of The Gods [OLD VERSION]

54 parts Complete Mature

What would you do if, after getting drunk in a party and passing out somewhere you don't remember, you woke up in a cart that is pulled by a horse with two people speaking weird language and wearing white sheets over their bodies? You panic, obviously. Era never believed in Gods and magic. Why? Because it wasn't explained by scientists. She doesn't even change her view when she is thrown down the time hole and back to the ancient Greece -time when people believed in everything, especially Gods of the Olympus. But her talk of "Gods don't exist" lands her into a festival of the Gods - a festival where people marked by one of the Gods of the Olympus fight for their life by performing something sociated with the god that they represent. And she is supposed to survive when she is marked by the God of the Underworld himself. He goes by the name of Hades. 2# in Festival 2018/05/20 123# in Gods 2018/05/26 2# in Ancient Greece 2018/05/31 Cover by PhoenixOfStorys
