Ella Rose

13 year old Chelsea is always the odd one out. She thinks herself as a tall, ugly, podgy child that everyone doesn't like. She has frizzy brown hair and glasses. Her younger sister, Lola, is the complete opposite. She has long, silky blonde hair and a perfect figure. But they're all having a lovely life.

Until one day, their mother gets seriously ill and passes away.

That changes everything.

Chelsea and Lola's father is traumatised at his wife's death, and thinks the best way to get over it is to drink every night. His close relationship with his children changes to a horrific monstrous one.

When things get out of hand, Chelsea and Lola have to pack their bags and escape in the middle of the night as fast as they can. They have to fend for themselves in the outside world, but with a new identity.

And so Chelsea become the beautiful, grown up Ella Rose! She thinks it will be easy, but she has no idea what is in store for her and her sister.
