Fire Goblets and Ice Queens

Harry Potter has had an eventful first three years at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. But, unbeknownst to even those closest to Harry, this Lion has a snake whispering in his ear. The Slytherin Ice Queen has had a crush on Gryffindor's Golden Boy since their Sorting, which developed and ran deeper the more she got to know him as a person. Daphne always knew that those stories about him had to be extremely exaggerated as well as looks being deceiving.

The same night that Harry has his prophetic dream about Voldemort and Wormtail with some previously unknown Death Eater, Daphne is having a fitful night's sleep herself. First, her father received a warning to not attend the World Cup, causing her to miss spending time with Harry. Second, she could only send a quick warning to her best friend in Slytherin, Tracy Davis.

Daphne reads about the events after the World Cup was won. Feeling anxious about what it could mean, yet relieved when Harry wasn't reported among the dead or injured. But a feeling of foreboding about the upcoming Triwizard Tournament came to the forefront. This year she will not fail Harry, no matter what happens!
