Fawn Hamilton has served in the army for about ten years, but after a traumatic event compromises her platoon, she decides to leave and instead joins a precinct in Brooklyn. Jake Peralta has worked as detective at the Nine-Nine since he was twenty-three and even though he has great colleagues, an amazing captain and no dull moments, he feels like there is something missing.
Their paths cross when Fawn is introduced as the newest detective in the precinct, which renders Jake speechless, something that no one has seen before. This is because he recognises Fawn from his past, several years in the past... their past...

Raven haired girl
You started working as a detective at the 99 precinct. You were expecting much, but that was until you meant the stunning Rosa Diaz. She helped you get through a traumatic experience at your previous job. Once you get closer to her just being friends was long forgotten. This a fan fiction about Rosa Diaz and a female reader. If you are uncomfortable with girl on girl relations I suggest you turn back now. Also don't own any of the characters in the book. Or anything related to Brooklyn nine nine. I only own Y/N and her story line.Complete

Fiona Vail is seventeen, brilliant, emotionally unavailable, and, oh yeah... possibly a murderer. (It's complicated.) When she gets arrested for accidentally being present at a very suspicious crime scene, Detective Jake Peralta does the unthinkable: he offers her a deal. Work at the Nine-Nine. Avoid prison. Sounds easy. Now she's stuck in Brooklyn's most chaotic precinct, juggling a murder accusation, passive-aggressive mentorship-turned-adoption from Rosa Diaz and Adrian Pimento, Amy Santiago's constant suspicion, and Captain Holt's stoic respect. Fiona didn't ask for a new family. Or a job. Or for Gina Linetti to try bonding with her via interpretive dance. But in between solving cases, dodging trauma, and roasting everyone with dry sarcasm, she might just learn that surviving is one thing... and living is something else entirely. Also, she plays a mean guitar solo.
