I've been very depressed and heartbroken so, what better than to create a story out of it? "This is my life" details a protagonist going through her teenage years up until the age of 21. Through love, friendship, grief, and heartbreak, you will get to witness what it's like being a young black girl trying to conquer the world. I hope anyone going through either heartbreak, grief, insecurities, mental health declines are able to read this and know that they're not alone! Life can be so ugly at times, but I promise things always get better. Not your typical romance or teen fiction book! This novel is based on my life, it will give you insight to my feelings and thoughts throughout my childhood years. This book is for everyone to read, but my main focus for writing this is to let kids that are going through something similar if not the same thing that they are not alone, and that they too can speak up and defend themselves.Complete

I wrote this when I was 15. I like to say that I'm a better writer now. Although this is where is started. This is what lit this passion inside me for writing. It's about a young influencer that falls for someone who she's not sure she deserves. She struggles with her thoughts.
