After being humiliated in front of the whole school for being gay, the popular boy named Clay decides to stand up for him. Clay, suffering from diabetes with abusive and not supportive parents, does everything to help George get rid of the bullies while struggling a lot himself. The two start getting closer and closer until Clay starts realising he's more similar to George than he expected to be, wanting to be closer to him every day. While George is live streaming, he accidentally outs himself in front of his whole stream. His life seems to be collapsing as his mother figures out the same thing as all his viewers did. George talks to his best friend, Dream, and decides to hopelessly ask to meet up with his "unknowing" best friend after his mother doesn't seem to want him in her house any longer. Dream, however, was watching George's stream as he outed himself and decides to not bring any of it up, realising George hides more and more from him.
