John Grimes is a werewolf, an alpha even. He is almost the age when he should meet his mate but when he does, he is dissapointed by the fact she is human and has a boyfriend.
How is he going to convince her he is the one for her, without telling his secret?
This turns out to be very hard so he makes the very hard decision to let her live happily with her boyfriend.
But John's wolf is setting free more and more. Is he strong enough to suppress his emotions?

'This really wasn't what I was planning. I had planned to leave her alone and have her happily ever after. But my wolf believed she wouldn't have that with her boyfriend, my wolf really didn't like the way he treated her. But really? Was it really necessary to be this intense with her?
I really couldn't believe what I had heard. My human part was panicking at this sentence, but my wolf was clearly very happy about what she had just told me.
"Are you sure?" I asked her. I could feel and hear my voice was shaking. I had messed up.
"It's not something people joke about John." she told me very seriously, with tears in her eyes. I would have been happy if this had happened because she was in love with me; but I knew I was just a one night stand to her.
"I tell you John, I'm not going to kill it. I don't have the guts to do that." My wolf was more than happy to hear those words. Though we both just craved for one more thing... to complete the mating and be with her forever.'
