17 year old Mary Watkins has betrayed her devout, Christian family and it is now time for her to pay the price; by being forced to go on an all-girls summer religious retreat at a resort in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains to "cleanse" herself of sin. Yet pretty soon into the retreat, things start to get strange. Some of the girls go missing in the woods, and unsettling, unexplainable events begin to take place as the girls begin to have the sinister inkling that people directing the retreat may not be exactly who they seem. Mary's boredom and apathy from being on the retreat rapidly turns into fear and a desperate fight for her life. Without any cell phones or signs of civilization nearby, can Mary and the other girls find a way to escape?

When her bright and busy children learn that a priceless ruby bracelet has been stolen and a six-figure reward is being offered, they convince her to try to do what the police, museum security, and the best private investigators have failed to do.
