A girl named Hyla Johnson is a very social, and friendly girl that lives in a fairly sized town. In this town, people know people, but not usually everyone.Yet she knows everyone, and everyone knows her. She usually meets a multitude of people on a day to day basis, and she never forgets a name, or a face. Hyla Johnson had a photographic memory to help her be that way.
Soon she stumbles through a portal to a new world. One where magic and fiction come to reality.
In this new world, she meets a boy that steals her heart, all though it wasn't intentional. He has to send Hyla back to her own world to retrace her steps, trying to remember how to get back, to remember an important promise...
And to remember that boy...
