After five years of serving as an assassin in the ancient Order of Venir, Saevio is nearing the end of her contract. But after coming dangerously close to failing the Order, and with the Order's ties with the Merchant Guild that dominates the southern continent of Omassin now strained due to her mistake, she risks facing the consequences. The mortal realm had been isolated for a reason, and it should have been impossible for another to arrive. But as the danger grows, and enemies close in, one question remains:
