when Inuyasha and Kagome can't seem to be able to have any children they are faced with a difficult situation, Kagome seems to be almost baren so she cannot get pregnant with Inuyasha's child, Keada said that her chances are extremely low. 

And so then Kagome demanded Inuyasha to take a second woman after all it wasn't unheard of for surrogate mothers before. 

So, in this situation, they interviewed almost all the unmarried women in their village, but Kagome nor Inuyasha liked any of them for a possible chance of getting married again. Inuyasha's reputation for being half demon made this a difficult task. 

Until a young woman appeared hurt after she fell out of the sky. She had lost everything dear to her. Her future was lost when Darien tried to go back in time and change things before they died on the moon. 

But this led to a stranger who Darien fell in love instead and then died with, so trying to get back to her own time at first. Serena was attacked and almost killed by a wizard who sought her powers for his own to take. Serena looked at Inuyasha and Kagome both when she came to, and they both knew she had nowhere to go now. 

So, Kagome offers deal protection and many more details if she lies with her husband and helps bear a child? But the plan doesn't exactly go the way she'd expect or anyone expected.

She left and went to move out of the house, Mom Souta, And Grandpa were left alone for months, and then Kagome returned and said she felt free. Inuyasha was in the room alone, but when he woke up, he couldn't seem to remember who he was, or who everyone else was, He couldn't remember his own life. Mom Sota, And Grandpa didn't know what to do. But the golden-haired girl taking care of him grew to care for her. Chose to be kind to him but because of his no trust in anyone he assumed that if she was taking care of him then she was his wife or relative. Why else would someone hang around some stranger? She didn't know what to do, she wanted to tell him the truth but she didn't want to scare him or hurt him, so she went along with a lie to protect him and take care of him by pertaining to be his wife. So it was time to help her. but sadly no longer than 5 months he was called back to war he was forced to leave her with his sister. but he never came back because of his death. leaving young Serena to learn more about family secrets.
