Luck hasn't found it's way into Dakoda Archer's life yet; she doesn't think it ever will. The young beauty guru doesn't have much going for her, family-wise. After being put through eight different foster homes all before she turns 16, she's about done with the struggle called life.

Halfway through her junior year of highschool, a incident with spray paint and the high school's new gym wall sends her packing again. Her eighth temporary home seems the same as the others.
