Fifteen years ago, a group of scientists got together to experiment on combining human and animal DNA. They called this the Mutant project.
Ashanti Nwadike was one of the many participants, and one of the only survivors when the experiment went haywire.
Today, being a Mutant is illegal. Ashanti is running from the government and MSA, which stands for the Mutant Studies Association. She's also trying to deal with her declining health from being half cheetah. But when a terrible accident leads her to get captured, she realises that there was a bigger plan to the Mutant project. And all the lasting Mutants were endanger.
