Someone is dead set on killing Nyla and she is head locked on finding out just who wants her dead so bad.
'For the past three weeks, Nyla Fern has been murdered three consecutive times, and brought right back to life in less than 24 hours. It all started on a very lively Monday when she was for the first time stabbed right in the chest. Instead of suffering from impaired ventilation and decreased cardiac output, she found herself in a park. Since then, she has also been poisoned and choked to "death".'
Nyla Fern is a hard working paralegal working for a prestigious law firm. She plans on going to law school in about 6 months but she might just have to pause on her dreams.
Will she be able to solve her own murder? What's going to happen when her direct supervisor and a newly employed first year associate find out just what's going on in her life? Is there a chance for a romance to brew under this deadly façade?
