My name is Mindy Hall and this is my story. Please read and understand that this isn't me trying to get attention and it's the complete and utter truth. I am a superhero and so are the people that I love and have come to love. Honestly, I never thought my life would turn out like this. To know what I know now. But mostly, to know who was behind the War. You're probably like, woah, wait, a war? What the heck? But like every hero story, there is a villain and ours happened to be a villain who wanted to start the War of Peace. Which, by the way, isn't how it sounds. I feel like I had trained my whole life for this, probably because I'm a fighting prodigy. That just mainly means that I know everything there is to know about fighting and every way to fight. We had all been training our lives for this moment, in our own special ways because we all have our own special talents that make us prodigy's. But mainly, make us who we are. Were we going to win? He is harder, more like the perfect soldier and he was... the perfect enforcer. I was the shy girl in the back of the class that made sure she didn't get picked on because of her family. And college changed me, but not only did I change then, it looks like I am changing again, and this time more than just my personality. I don't know how long until something goes really wrong, but I know little bad things will end up creating a huge mess. I'm going to be in the center of it all. Hopefully Greyson will save me. Ever wonder where supervillains go after their fight with the hero? What about the other side of the story? It's not like they sit in their lair cackling all day and planning how to kidnap reporters. What about the lives they lead? And instead of just focusing on that, what if the superhero and the supervillain knew each other? I mean, can they see behind the mask? No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing. Ash gently floated through the breeze of the wind, and all of the ash was coming from the place that had fallen before my very eyes. I leaned my body up, so that I could get a better view of this place in front of me. I took in a deep breath as I smiled, the loud sounds and the beating of my heart, along with the fear and anxiety that I had felt before, all went away with the silence. Times like these were hard to come by after all of the things that I have been through. Though no matter how many times I wanted to feel victorious, no matter how many times I wanted to tell myself that it was all over, I couldn't. This happened quite frequently and fast, one second I get powers from a magic rock, and the next second, well, I wish I had never touched that rock. Sometimes I think I'm going to go insane, I wish I could go back in time and be a normal kid once more. It was better then, I was less stressed, and I didn't have villains to deal with, but I know eventually I will be at peace, and I won't have a care in the world. I just don't know if that peace will ever come, it may, or it may not, I guess I'll have to find out. #8 in notperfect as of 3/12/23
